Engage students with this fun and interactive game. This can be used for review, a hook, whole group practice, or science centers. If you have never played before, the student who has the card that reads: I have the first card... will start. They then read the Who Has...? section in which another student will have the answer to that question on their card. The game continues from card to card to card. Each card is supplemented with a photo to help ELL students, language acquisition, and content based vocabulary understanding. There are a total of 16 cards including the cover card that over a variety of science tools including safety goggles, beakers, magnets and more! These can also be printed and sent home with students as a study guide! Have fun :)

This is best suited as a take home investigation, but can easily be adapted to be done in the classroom. The directions and template lead students to observe the moon every three days for about 30 days leading to 10 recordings of what they see. Check out this fun and engaging way to take science fair the next level and make it that much more meaningful. This round-robin activity allows students in your class to visit three other projects and learn about them. Included in each section, students will record the presenter, the project, the explanation and summary of the project and then positive things they identified. They are meant to repeat this three times with a reflection at the end, but it can easily be adapted to fit your setting.
